The Chronic Pain and Spinal Cord Injury Project

The Chronic Pain and Spinal Cord Injury Project

The Chronic Pain and Spinal Cord Injury Project funded by the Lifetime Care and Support Authority (LTCSA) and conducted by the NSW Agency for Clinical Innovation (NSW ACI), is developing resources and improving access to health services for people with chronic pain after spinal cord injury.

Over 100 consumers and 240 clinicians have enthusiastically participated in the Needs Analysis phase by contributing to an online survey and attending pain education sessions and focus groups.

The full reports can be viewed at the NSW ACI website http://www.aci.health.nsw.gov.au/networks/spinal-cord-injury/resources

The SCI Pain resources are currently being developed and will be available online on the ACI website in mid-2014.
