Sydney Nursing School's new Primary Health Care program

This program is designed to meet the educational needs of registered nurses who currently work in or aspire to work in primary health care, whether in the community or hospital based.

There are 3 study options:
Master of Primary Health Care
Graduate Diploma in Primary Health Care
Graduate Certificate in Primary Health Care

Whether you are a registered nurse working in general practice, community health, ambulatory care and hospital-based units, schools, rural and remote areas, telehealth, Indigenous health care or international health, this primary health care program will give you the knowledge and skills required to practise effectively within complex primary health care nursing settings.

Who should apply
Registered nurses who work in, or who are intending to work in a variety of primary health care settings.

RECOGNITION OF PREVIOUS STUDY
Registered nurses who have completed graduate studies may apply for prior recognition towards the graduate diploma and masters degree. Credit towards the course is determined on an individual basis.

The application closing date is 31 January. Late applications may be considered.

Fees
The Primary Health Care degrees are full-fee paying. Fee-Help is available for Australian citizens. Nursing Student Services will provide you with further information regarding eligibility and repayment information.
