Northern Sydney Partners in Recovery program

NSML has been successful in securing funding over the next three years to lead a new local mental health program that will benefit people with severe and persistent mental illness.

The Northern Sydney Partners In Recovery (PIR) program model aims to better support people with severe and persistent mental illness and their carers and families, by getting services across a range of sectors to work in a more collaborative, coordinated and integrated way. NSML will work with over 20 community and non-government organisations, including Black Dog Institute, Northside Community Forum and Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury to build and coordinate the program which is due for launch in October 2013. Further updates will be provided as the program is established.
