Do you see patients with an intellectual disability?

Northern Intellectual Disability Health is a specialised, multidisciplinary health service for school aged children, adolescents and adults. They work with General Practitioners and/or Paediatricians, other health services and disability service providers to ensure coordinated, high quality health care.

Some of the services that we offer:
  • Medical Assessments and recommendations
  • Psychology counselling and development of strategies
  • Psychiatry consultation and treatment (for adults only)
  • Nutrition assessment and advice for children and adults

These services are at no cost to patients.
