Assisting nurses in the primary care sector to become active and confident members of the diabetes care planning is crucial for future health care delivery. Australian Practice Nurse Association (APNA) has 2 online modules focusing on developing and enhancing primary health care nurse skill sets in diabetes care planning.

Unit 1 provides a basic understanding of the disease and its impact on the individual and the broader community.
Unit 2 contains more detailed information required to adapt a care plan and management of an individuals requirements.

Participants who complete these two courses are eligible to claim CPD hours.
