Current QPI PIP year finishes 30 April

Reminder to Practice Managers and GPs that the current Quality Prescribing Incentive (QPI) of the Practice Incentives Program (PIP) for general practices ends on 30 April 2014.

New Clinical e-Audit: Clinical e-Audit - Medicines in older people: review and rationalise - This activity will assist GPs to review their medicine management of patients aged 75 years old using 5 medicines and prescribed at least one of the following: an antipsychotic medicine for behavioural and psychological symptoms of dementia OR a benzodiazepine for insomnia OR an opioid for chronic non-cancer pain.

CPD accreditation pending for 2014-16 triennium. Recognised for QPI PIP.
