Cold chain breaches

A recent review of cold chain breaches has highlighted the need for regular practice data logging to ensure potency of vaccines.

Data logging is a free and confidential service offered by NSML which records the fridge temperature every six minutes for one week. External data logging enables you to check that your fridge is maintaining the temperature between 2C to 8C, as per the National Vaccine Storage Guidelines - Strive for 5.

Storing vaccines between 2C to 8C at all times ensures potent vaccines.
To book data logging or obtain a copy of the Strive for 5, contact your Primary Care Support Officer at practice_support@nsml.com.au or phone 94778700.
