Call for abstracts now open!

Australian Practice Nurse Association (APNA)s sixth national conference will take place 29 - 31 May 2014.

NSML would like to hear from nurse(s) who may be interested in sharing their story of how they have influenced, led or contributed to an improvement within their practice.

Please submit an abstract to present how youre thriving in your practice setting and contributing to beneficial changes in your community. Some suggested themes for abstracts are:

Leading the change: Leadership Skills for Primary Health Care Nurses Leadership comes in many forms and is important to foster and develop.

There is diversity in nursing roles across different primary healthcare settings. How have you addressed the challenges and opportunities your setting presents?

How have you enhanced clinical care in your practice?

Effective communication between patients, nurses and other healthcare professionals is essential to ensure the best possible outcomes. What new communication strategies have you implemented?

Thriving: Problem solving and innovation How has research improved your setting solution, patient outcome and/or team cohesiveness?
