Are you familiar with clinical audits?

A good clinical audit can help a GP follow an evidence based clinical pathway, trial a clinical assessment tool and reflect on current behavior and commit to change.

What is a clinical audit?
A clinical audit is a quality improvement activity that a GP can conduct to measure and improve health delivery at the point of patient contact.
The activity is acknowledged by both GP Colleges (RACGP and ACRRM) as a format that directly impacts on the GPs knowledge, skills and attitudes towards patient care and are accredited with maximum professional development points. The process of accrediting a clinical audit requires an organisation to have expertise in general practice and application of evidence based clinical pathways.

ThinkGP has developed a series of accredited clinical audits in collaboration with key research groups and the RACGP. These audits are smart device compatible and available online at thinkgp.com.au.
