The workshop participants will receive the recently launched resource RELATE. MOTIVATE. APPRECIATE: Montessori Resource. The day will begin with an overview of applying the Montessori principles followed by a hands-on experience to create activities and implement them.

Additional Information: Language differences among residents and staff do not have to be barriers to effective communication. This innovative system was developed by Dr. Cameron Camp and his colleagues and centres on a simple set of phonetic sounds that combine to simulate virtually any language. The significance of this for multilingual residential communities is better communication and quality of life for residents and staff alike.
